We are located in the
School of Biological Sciences
at the University of Utah and affiliated with the
Global Change and Sustainability Center (GCSC)
and the
Center for Ecological Planning and Design
. We are participants in the
iUtah EPSCoR project
on water sustainability in the Wasatch front, the National Science Foundation (NSF) Macrosystems project on
ecological homogenization in urban America
, and the
Waterhub housed at UCLA
. Our current research focuses on the role of vegetation and landscapes in planning and designing cities and towns that promote human wellbeing and prosperity.
